  • 1/2 cup steel-cut oats (uncooked)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 apple, chopped (for topping)
  • Optional: crushed nuts or granola for texture

  1. In a jar or container, mix the steel-cut oats, almond milk, applesauce, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and maple syrup.

  3. In the morning, stir again and top with chopped apple and your favorite crunch.
