At just 17 years old, Joshua is already setting a powerful example of commitment and determination. As a Year 12 student focusing on his HSC, he recognized the need to prioritize his health and decided to take on the Shape Personal Training 6 Week Challenge. The results of his dedication were astounding: Joshua lost an impressive 10.6 kg and reduced his body fat by 4.4% in just six weeks!

A Shift in Nutrition Habits

One of Joshua’s significant changes was adjusting his eating schedule. Previously, he had developed a habit of eating late at night, which contributed to unwanted weight gain. By stopping late-night eating, he focused on consuming healthy meals during meal times, opting for nutritious options instead of empty calories. This meant saying no to processed snacks like lollies, chips, and ice cream. Instead, Joshua incorporated high-protein foods such as yogurt and whey protein shakes, along with plenty of fruits and vegetables, into his diet.

Active Lifestyle Changes

In addition to revamping his nutrition, Joshua found creative ways to stay active. He made it a point to include regular walks in his routine, such as walking his dogs and walking home from school. These simple adjustments helped him stay active while balancing his studies.

Joshua’s commitment extended to his personal training sessions at Shape Personal Training with his trainer Johnnie. He attended each session with a determination to give 100% effort, maximizing his time and results.
