Our Policies

Session Terms

To maximise the benefits of Shape Personal Training, you are required to acknowledge the following:

  • The day before your Personal Training session, you will be sent an automated text reminder to remind you of your upcoming session. If you need to rebook your scheduled session, we require 24 hours notice. 
  • We require at least 24 hrs notice to reschedule a session without penalty. Any sessions rescheduled with less than 24hrs notice will incur a rescheduling fee of $20 per session. Sessions that are incomplete or not attended will not be rescheduled and considered to be forfeited. Any rebooked sessions from the date of rebooking will have a 30x day expiry to be completed. This policy allows you and our Trainer to properly plan your daily schedules. 
  • Every 12 weeks you are entitled to 1x Evolt360 body scan, measurements, progress photos and new goal setting complimentary of the Shape Personal Training Team.
  • As a professional courtesy, a 7 day cooling off period exists, from the date of signing this legal document. In the case of termination, your first week of the agreed program price and any additional starting fees will be charged to your account.
  • Your program is non-refundable and any sessions not used will be forfeited by the date of expiry.
  • If you wish to change your account details at any time and you are making your investment, you will be required to complete an email request. This request will be sent directly by email only to the manager at admin@shapept.com.au and will be actioned within 14 days of the request being made. To maximise your results, should you miss any sessions within your program term (not inside our 24-hour cancellation period), we recommend that you make them up in the following weeks.
  • You may suspend your program for a minimum of 2x weeks payments and a maximum of 6x weeks payments, should you go away on extended leave. Extension beyond 6x weeks will require a $10 per week fee to keep your account active and avoid any future start up fees with Shape Personal Training.
  • If you wish to suspend, you must give us a minimum 14 days notice by email only to the manager at admin@shapept.com.au requesting a suspension of payments. If your actual sessions usage exceeds your billing rate by more than two weeks, Shape Personal Training may make a variation to your next payment to bring them back in line. 
  • At Shape Personal Training, we have a minimum commitment time of 12x weeks from the first week your Personal Training Sessions begin. Cancelling your account within your first 12 weeks we incur a 50% cancellation fee of the remaining weeks total price. 
  • At the end of your program, your debits will automatically continue. If you wish to stop training with us at your programs’ completion, you must give us a minimum of 14 days notice by placing a request in writing to our email at admin@shapept.com.au . We will respond to receipt of this request within 7 days. During this 14 days notice period your account will remain active until the assigned date of termination.
  • Should you wish to stop training at Shape Personal Training after your minimum term, any sessions that have been paid for and not used will expire after 6x weeks from your final date of payment.
  • We do not take any responsibility for lost or stolen personal items.
  • We require that you understand and acknowledge that there is an element of risk involved for partaking in any exercise program. Therefore you will not be able to hold Shape Personal Training or any of its representatives liable for any injury sustained to yourself in our premises and/or whilst under our supervision.
  • You understand, acknowledge and give us permission that your personal details will be stored on our system and database to be used by Shape Personal Training Pty Ltd.
  • You understand, acknowledge and agree to give us permission to use any marketing materials and/or content you are involved in on our marketing platforms such as direct mail, posters, flyers, Google, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube and any other form of marketing.


Additional Information

  • Any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to successfully follow your program and achieve the agreed results must be identified in your first “Goals Sessions” through the Lifestyle Screen.
  • Your program may be transferred to another party who is not a current client of Shape Personal Training should you be unable to use any unused sessions before your expiry date. Alternatively, at the time that you cease training with us, you may simply pay out 50% of your remaining Program term.
  • You may transfer to another studio and any sessions that you have in credit, including prepaid sessions, may be transferred to that studio. Please note that at least 4 weeks notice must be provided in writing for this to occur.
  • Please note that we do not take any responsibility for lost or stolen personal items. We suggest that you do not bring items of value with you into the Studio. Further we require that you acknowledge that there is an element of risk involved in partaking in any exercise program. Therefore you will not be able to hold Shape Personal Training or any of its representatives liable for any injury sustained to yourself in our premises and / or whilst under our supervision.
  • Please note that our prices may be subject to change at the end of your program, however, you will be notified of any change at least 30 days prior to any increase.
  • As a professional courtesy, a 7 day cooling off period exists, from the date of signing below. In the case of termination, the Start Up Fee will be fully refunded as long as all client entitlements are returned. A $79 administration fee will apply. Also, your first week of payment will not be refunded, however if you have paid for 2 weeks in advance, the second week will be refunded.
  • I also give permission for my contact and program details to be entered into a database to be used by Shape Personal Training Pty Ltd for marketing purposes. No details will be provided to any third party.
